A recipe you cant refuse

I am so happy to be sharing this awesome Refreshing Recipe. It is not only a great way to reuse leftover taco meat, but is both fast AND incredibly cheap. As a family of 4 on a tight budget, cheap is essential.
My Husband loves Taco Pizza, but to order even a small specialty pizza you can run yourself $15-20 bucks! That is just crazy. I am so glad I found this Jiffy Pizza Mix. At my local Walmart it is only $0.57!!! It does not make a large pizza but it is perfect for 2 people to share. If your family is bigger you can always have a pizza night and make a few types of pizzas for everyone to enjoy!

For this recipe I suggest making tacos for dinner the night before and using the leftover meat, however you can always whip up a small amount of taco meat fresh if you prefer.

Here is what you will need:
1 box of Jiffy Pizza Dough
1/2 Cup warm water
1/8 C Rago Pizza Sauce
1/8 C Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/8 C Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 - 1 C Taco Meat
1 tbs butter OR Cooking Spray
Sprinkle Of Cornmeal Or Flour
1/2 C Flour

1. Preheat oven to 425°

2. In a small mixing bowl add Jiffy mix and warm water. Stir until well mixed. Be careful not to over mix.

3.

4. While dough is rising, lightly grease pizza pan with butter or cooking spray and sprinkle with cornmeal (preferred) or flour.

5.

Remove towel. Dough will be pretty wet and sticky. Place on a floured surface and knead with flour until it is no longer sticky and is able to form a ball.

6. Flatten the dough and form a circle. You can use a rolling pin but it's a small pizza so your hands work well too. Roll up the edges a little to form a crust.

7. Place in the oven and pre-bake for 3 min.

8.

Add your sauce. We like ours really saucy but you can use more or less depending on the taste. I suggest using a brush or a spoon.

9. Use the brush or spoon to smooth out any bumps and shape the crust.

10.

Add toppings!! I like to layer the mozzarella, then taco meat, then the cheddar cheese last. This seems to work really well.

11. Return to oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. The package says to cook it for 18 to 20 minutes but I find that it is always done between 12 to 15 minutes every oven is different so just keep an eye on it to make sure it's not over or under-cooked. You want your pizza to be a nice golden brown.

12. Top your pizza with shredded lettuce cut the pizza into individual slices and serve.
